Alphonse Gabriel “Al” Capone, also known by his nickname “Scarface”, was an American gangster and boss of the Chicago Outfit crime syndicate. The Outfit was the most powerful, violent, and largest criminal organization in Chicago. After the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre, in which seven gang rivals were murdered in broad daylight, Capone was called by government and media “Public Enemy No. 1”.
