New York Daily News front-page from issue covering Albert Fish confession. Hamilton Howard “Albert” Fish (Albert H. Fish) was notorious American serial killer, kidnapper, cannibal and sadomasochist. He was known as the “Gray Man”, the “Werewolf of Wysteria”, the “Brooklyn Vampire”, the “Moon Maniac” and the “Boogey Man.” Fish confessed to three murders, and he was convicted of the murder of Grace Budd and executed by electric chair in the 1936.
