Louis William Wain was one of the most famous illustrators of Victorian era. He created a lot of popular drawings of anthropomorphic large-eyed cats and kittens for books, magazines and postcards. But artist’s live was very tragic and he spent his last days in mental clinic, where he created strange and psychedelic fractalized cats paintings. Those works are commonly used in psychology books as examples of psychosis and sсhizophrenia driven art.
