In July 1947 something which looks like flying disc crashed at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. According to the official version, it was a weather balloon. Later the information about the connection with secret military projects appeared. But many ufologists were sure that one or more alien spacecraft had crash-landed and that the extraterrestrial occupants had been recovered by the military, which then engaged in a cover-up.
