Vintage photo depicting famous 1950s stripper Jada (Janet Conforto). Original photography was published by Irving Klaw in the 1950s (photo number is JADA-27).
Irving Klaw was influenced pin-up, erotica and BDSM art publisher and merchant, he was one of the central figures in American underground fetish art history. Within a long time his photographs and books were strongly prohibited and not legal. After massive political and social pressures, Klaw closed his storefront business in the 1960s and burned a large part of his negatives.
