Printable Sweet Gwendoline vintage fetish comix art by Eric Stanton - vintage print poster
Description:

Erotica drawing reproduction of Eric Stanton illustration from vintage adult comic book “Return of Gwendoline” (Eric Stanton’s sequel of original “Sweet Gwendoline” comics series started by artist John Willie in 1930s).
Eric Stanton was one of the most famous American underground cartoonist and fetish artist. From the 1940s he worked with pioneering fetish art publishers like Irving Klaw, Leonard Burtman, Edward Mishkin etc. He illustrated hundreds of erotic stories, comic books, and magazines. Madonna, Banksy, Allen Jones, and others have taken inspiration from his works. But Eric Stanton had only one small art exhibit in his lifetime at the New York City nightclub. Starting in the late 1960s, Stanton supported himself by self-publishing and distributing his work to a quasi-underground network of subscribers and patrons.
