Project Blue Book was the Air Force name for a project that investigated UFO reports between 1947 and 1969. And it was directly connected with Majestic-12 (MJ-12) group. MJ-12 was a special group of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by an executive order by US President Harry S. Truman for investigation and researching of UFO phenomena.
